Privacy Policy
Captions collects nothing about you, sends nothing anywhere, and has no servers to send it to.

The short version
Everything the app does happens on your Apple Watch and your iPhone. There is no account to create, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no backend service operated by the developer or anyone else. The developer cannot see your conversations, because they never leave your devices.
What the app handles

What the app does not do
- No user accounts, sign-in, or identifiers.
- No analytics, crash reporting, or usage measurement.
- No advertising and no advertising SDKs.
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track.
- No selling or sharing of data, because none is collected.
- No audio recordings are stored, on your device or anywhere else.
Other people in your conversations
Captions transcribes speech it hears, which may include people other than you. Their words are handled exactly as described above and are never uploaded. Laws about recording or transcribing other people differ from place to place, and some require everyone's consent. Please use the app accordingly.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of the app ever transmitted anything off your devices, that would be stated plainly here and in the app before it happened.
